Inspired by the layered cultures of Sri Lanka and England, Colombo House, formerly known as Colombo 16, presents a modern table of Sri Lanka at Marine Court — the Grade II–listed Art Deco landmark overlooking St Leonards-on-Sea.

By night, the menu focuses on contemporary dinners, with curries, short eats, and desserts designed for sharing. On Sundays, Colombo House opens for brunch and lunch, offering relaxed sharing platters alongside Sri Lankan favourites.

Our cooking is rooted in family recipes, reimagined through a modern, ingredient-led approach — sourcing locally while importing key produce weekly from Sri Lanka.
 

The drinks list champions locally sourced coffee, tea, soft drinks, craft beers, ciders, and artisanal spirits. Our wine list has been carefully curated to complement the bold, nuanced flavours of the food, in collaboration with local wine merchants Artis Vin, Ridge & Bard of Hastings.
